Do you need to include MATLAB generated 2D plots into LaTeX once in a while? Then you might have spent a considerable amount of time struggling with font sizes and other ugly glitches in the past.
But behold! The days of manually quirking the MATLAB plots, exporting them to PDF (or EPS) and then look into the result are over: matlab2tikz has been released to wild today, and it's ready for some serious testing.
It is essentially a parser that translates a MATLAB figure into TikZ syntax (using pgfplots) and by that giving you the power of native LaTeX plots at hand.
